BEAR SAFETY. Please secure all trash in a bear-proof can and never leave food out. Here are some recommendations:
NO BURN BAN IN EFFECT.
As a FYI, during BURN BAN, gas fire pits, Gas BBQ’s, and Pellet BBQ’s and Smokers that can be turned off with a switch ARE allowed during the fire ban. Open-flame outdoor burning which includes cooking fires, recreational camp fires, burn piles, vegetation burning, charcoal briquettes are NOT allowed during a fire ban.
RENTAL PROPERTY. Owners, please inform your renters about our Renter's Rules & Responsibilities to keep community safety and enjoyable - burn ban, speed limit, proper disposal of trash, noise ordinance, etc. We want everyone to have a happy and safe time while at PLS.
DUST ABATEMENT. We use Lignin for our dust abatement. It's a natural by-product of paper production, and completely safe.
ATV SAFETY. Be safe when driving your quads. Wear your helmets and slow down. The speed limit is 10MPH on our roads. Please remind your guests who may not be familiar with the speed limit.
WATER. If you're experiencing discolored water, please continue to run the outside tap. It could take a while.
